VISUAL CULTURE PROJECT
Overview
iAnna is a motion design project where I was tasked to create a 20 second opening sequence to short story. The story is about a girl who has a rare condition of schizophrenia where everything she experiences is through a mobile phone interface.
Approach
I approached the task by creating a 2D animation styled sequence. It features parts of the plot where Anna is being interviewed and also depicts how things may seem from her perspective. The sequence follows through with animations which connect technology to human biology, like the cables plugging into her eyes and brain.
